This private island residence represents one of Eurohouse's most complex and technically demanding luxury residential projects in British Columbia. The architectural concept was developed by Archea Associati, an internationally recognized Italian architecture firm, with direct involvement from founding partner Marco Casamonti.
Eurohouse served as the Canadian general contractor and construction integrator, translating European architectural design into a fully BC Building Code–compliant structure. The site is a rock-based private island with no existing utilities or access infrastructure—every element was constructed from scratch.
Sculptural copper-clad volumes by Archea Associati, featuring floor-to-ceiling glazing and cantilevered terraces framing panoramic coastal views.
An exclusive forested island sanctuary off the BC coast. With no road access, Eurohouse designed and commissioned a custom aluminum landing craft for all material transport.
Custom concrete foundations engineered directly into exposed bedrock, featuring precision-formed grade beams and reinforced concrete piers with on-site batching.
With geothermal not feasible due to bedrock geology, Eurohouse engineered a high-performance hydronic radiant slab with kilometres of PEX tubing embedded in concrete.
A complex steel superstructure with welded moment frames and cantilevered floor plates, erected using heavy lift equipment transported by landing craft.
Translating Archea Associati's European vision into BC Building Code–compliant construction
Custom landing craft, marine logistics, and self-sufficient construction operations
Innovative hydronic radiant heating engineered for off-grid bedrock environments
Managing energy systems, transportation, and remote workforce operations
From global architecture to remote execution, Eurohouse delivers where conventional construction isn't possible.
