This project showcases the Wine Room (Wine Cellar) at one of our recently completed construction projects in West Vancouver. As the home builder of this project we have exclusive access to all of its stunning elements.
Enter the space through a secret vintage door that is concealed by a set of sliding wall panels from the adjacent Bar and Lounge area and let us give you a tour of this magnificent Wine Room: “In Vino Veritas”
If you are stepping into this cellar for the first time, you will be met with a completely different interior design style than the rest of the home!
Right away you will be presented by the vaulted brick ceiling and archways that create the ambience of an ancient European wine vault. The design team at Eurohouse furthermore introduced handcut limestone walls and slate floors to transform this space into a unique and memorable setting.
The marriage of the interior design and construction elements in this room is unparalleled to any other wine cellars that we have seen on the North Shore.
The refrigeration units, control features, power, and mechanical systems were all planned to blend in modern technology while keeping the ancient look of the space. Much foresight, planning, and precision was required to ensure that all the important elements were delivered and installed prior to enclosing the space.
With the leather sofa chairs and a perfectly selected wooden table in the middle of the space, it is the absolute room for close circle wine tasting, private conversations, or even alone time. The addition of a hidden spiral staircase further complements the unique and functional design of this Wine Room.
A quick run up the stairs and you find yourself on the Main Floor seconds away from the Grand Entrance which we will be featuring in our next updates.
